january 28. 2009 snow day

Today I woke up to a blanket of snow on the ground...mommy said it was actually ice, but it was white. I wanted to throw a snow ball, but mommy said that I might poke someone's eye out with it because it was so hard. She let me pick an icicle instead. I put it in the freezer. I am hoping to bring it home to show all my friends and daddy. There wasn't much to do since most of the business opened late, but midday we ventured out on the icey roads to go to Sam's Club. At least we got out of the house.

Mommy made her famous chili and Great-Aunt Janice came over for dinner. She was really nice. She played with me in my room. I really liked her, but I did have to show off a little bit. I think that drives mommy a little crazy though. Oh well, she'll get over it.
